Past
The history of Vesz-Mont 2000 Kft. began with the initiative of two friends, Tibor Zentai and István Lőkös in 1997, when they founded their own business in a barn in Veszprémfajsz. Initially, they manufactured worktops and small equipment, and then, through their sports connections, they started making fitness equipment, which is still in use today in the conditioning room of the Vedac sports club in Veszprém. The first steps of the company basically started as a second job, but growth and opportunities quickly expanded the scope of the business.
The breakthrough came in 1999, when, at the encouragement of their two founding friends and their former employer, they founded Vesz-Mont 2000 Kft. In the beginning, they faced great difficulties, their infrastructure was weak, and they supported themselves by contract work. The first serious success came in 2001, when Payer Industries placed an order for the production of an assembly line, which established a long-term cooperation. The then technical director of Payer later expanded the joint projects, when he became one of the managers of Poppe+Potthoff, so that Poppe+Potthoff became one of the company's largest customers.
The first five years were full of challenges, but the business operated successfully without credit, relying on its own resources. The founders did not want to risk their homes with an uncertain loan, so they financed the projects with advances from customers and their own resources. This cautious but persistent growth strategy allowed them to gradually put the company on a stable footing, while constantly expanding their product range and technological know-how.
The basic principles of Vesz-Mont 2000 Kft. are still based on operations based on secure financial foundations. The founders of the company have always made sure to only take on loans that they can definitely repay, and they place great emphasis on relying on their own resources and values. This attitude has enabled Vesz-Mont 2000 Kft. to become a decisive player in the region's assembly technology industry, ensuring the company's future with continuous development and expansion.
Present
Vesz-Mont 2000. Kft. is a 100% Hungarian-owned assembly technology and mechanical engineering company, whose managing director and owner is Tibor Zentai.
The company has developed spectacularly over the past 15 years, which can be demonstrated by the numbers. The 300 m2 site in Nemesvámos has since expanded to 2500 m2, and our new office building was recently completed, which occupies an additional 1000 m2. In addition, we have also opened a sheet metal technology plant in Veszprém, where we can also undertake other large-scale projects.
The initial staff of 10 has expanded to nearly 200, more than half of whom are engineers, making the entire staff extremely competent.
