PRESS RELEASE
“Development of a modularly deployable Industry 4.0 production system based on mobilized collaborative robots and implementing quality management functions”
VESZ-MONT '2000 Assembly Technology and Engineering Limited Liability Company in consortium with the University of Pannonia successfully implemented the research and development project entitled "Development of a modularly deployable Industry 4.0 production system based on mobilized collaborative robots and implementing quality management functions" with identification number 2019-1.1.1-PIACI-KFI-2019-00312. Out of the total cost of the project of HUF 1,649,967,406, VESZ-MONT '2000 Ltd. received a non-refundable grant of HUF 988,718,359, the grant intensity of which was 59.92%. The project was implemented with support from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund, financed by the 'Support for Market-Driven Research, Development and Innovation Projects' application program. The physical implementation of the project began on 2020.02.01 and was completed on 2023.04.30.
Vesz-Mont 2000 Ltd. is a continuously developing assembly technology and mechanical engineering company operating since 1999. Our goal is to maintain the current development in the long term and to achieve an increasing influence on foreign markets. We do everything in our power to retain our customers with our favorable prices, the quality of our work, meeting deadlines, and providing full-scale service. During the project, we founded a new generation product line, which Vesz-Mont' 2000 Ltd. brought to the market, incorporating the knowledge of researchers from the University of Pannonia. The goal was to create autonomous plant modules that aim for the highest level of automation and, operating in an ecosystem, can even be organized into a fully autonomous plant. The two players, as members of the Industry 4.0 National Technology Platform, are committed to the development of the domestic manufacturing industry, the design and creation of affordable and profitable industrial digitalization solutions. This project also served this purpose. The new product line created combines Vesz-Mont's experience in special-purpose machinery manufacturing (20 years, currently the largest domestic special-purpose machinery manufacturer) and Pannon University's high-level optimization and process abstraction knowledge. During the project, a nearly autonomous production line was implemented, using automatically controlled machining stations. The logistics system connecting the stations was built using and further developed using the latest developments, and a nearly autonomous quality control system was created. The special feature of its design is that the production tasks received from the enterprise management systems were sorted by algorithm modules to be created by the university's experts, and the production was optimized. Among the goals was also improving the competitiveness of domestic SMEs with a new, modular production product line that can be introduced and maintained in a profitable way. As a result of our work, the system can be sold both in its elements and as a technological process, both in the domestic SMEs and on the international market.
